Arjun Kapoor Has A Humble Reply To A Fan Who Stated His Films Have Bad Luck Despite Actor's Best Efforts
Arjun Kapoor spoke about Mubarakan, despite being a family entertainer bombed at the box office as he responded to a fan’s comment of the actor facing bad luck
Arjun Kapoor during his interview with Bollywoodhungama responded to a netizen’s comment, where he mentioned despite the actor giving out his best and putting all his efforts into his films, they failed due to his bad luck. Arjun was seen agreeing to this as he was quizzed about a fan's comment who said 'despite his best efforts' his film face 'bad luck'. Arjun stated Anees Bazmee’s directorial Mubarakan did not get the expected response.
He said, “Thank you for that. I think it’s very sweet. He is being honest about the fact that he is supporting me regardless of a few films not working out and I think that is being a fan, eventually, and I respect that.” Vouching for Mubarakan, he shares this flick being a clean family entertainer and did not get its due. “I completely agree. I think bad luck, of course... A film like Mubarakan didn’t get its due. It was a really good film, it was entertaining, a clean family entertainer. At that point in time, there were too many other films releasing. There have been moments like that. I have also done films that unfortunately didn’t pan out, but like he rightly said, I have always given my best effort,” added Arjun.
Further thanking his fans for understanding his side, “It’s good to know that people respect that or regard that and are by your side, cheering for you, to reconnect with the audience and get revitalised, re-engaged with them,” said the Ishqzaade actor.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Arjun’s two movies - Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Sardar Ka Grandson opted for digital release over theatrical release. Next, he has horror-comedy, Bhoot Police and Ek Villain Returns in the pipeline.
